Creating Art, Making Messes, and Living the Dream—Artrystrokes in a Nutshell !

Hey there! I’m Aparnaa, the founder & owner of Artrystrokes—your go-to place for all things creative, fun, and slightly messy (but in a good way!).

I was born and raised in India, where my love for art started at a young age. As a kid, I had a motto that I took way too seriously: "One painting a day, no matter what." And I mean, no matter what. Whether it was a sunset, a random cat I saw, or sometimes just a bunch of colorful blobs (hey, abstract art counts!), I was committed. That daily practice helped me develop a love for painting—and, over time, I actually got pretty good at it!

Fast forward a few years: I graduated with a Bachelor's in Advertising and an MBA in Marketing from Cardiff University (yep, total marketing nerd here—don’t judge). After spending nearly 16 years diving into the world of marketing and sales, I discovered one thing for sure: I really enjoy meeting new people, chatting about anything under the sun, and making connections. So, I had this "aha" moment: “Why not combine my love for art with my passion for communication?” And voilà, Artrystrokes was born in February 2024—part paint, part people, all fun!

At first, I just wanted to throw some fun paint parties. But soon, I started to think, “Why stop at paint? Why not resin art, texture painting, candle making, tote bags... the possibilities are endless!” And so, the variety of creative workshops began. Now, we offer all sorts of fun experiences where anyone, from beginners to seasoned artists, can create something beautiful while having a laugh (and maybe getting a little bit of paint on their clothes—don’t worry, I’ll bring aprons).

My mission? To make art accessible, fun, and a great way to connect with others. Whether you’re sipping wine and painting a lavender field with friends or trying your hand at resin art for the first time, I want you to leave feeling inspired and proud of what you’ve created.

Had a fun night out. Everything needed was provided. paint water was changed frequently enough. Enough individual attention was provided. Good food at Milestones, refreshing bellinis, and lovely, festive painting to go home with.

We worked with Aparna and @ArtyStroked for a parent paint night at my daughter’s school. Everything was so easy! Aparna is super quick to respond to messages and questions and was super accommodating for a few last minute registrants. At the actual event, she took care of everything!
